LAMCO Welcomes Diane M. Cardinal (formerly Diane M. Sheldon) to Board of Directors

Littleton, Colo., Feb. 23, 2010 – Lenders Asset Management Corporation (LAMCO), a full-service, nationwide REO management company, announced that industry veteran Diane M. Cardinal became a member of its board of directors to aid in strategic direction and the growth of LAMCO’s REO portfolios.
Cardinal holds more than 37 years of industry experience within the REO and loan servicing industry. Recently retired from U.S. Bank National Association as vice president of the Foreclosure Asset Management Group, Cardinal was responsible for home equity foreclosures and the liquidation of residential REO portfolios within the home equity and finance divisions.
In 1998, Cardinal had the vision to design a database that supported the management of the home equity foreclosure process, senior lien holder’s loan status, the bankruptcy process, along with the liquidation of the Bank’s REO portfolios. This technology enabled her to evaluate the entire process and implement changes to positively position U.S. Bank Corp. for current REO market conditions, yielding results that exceeded expectations. She was awarded “Manager of the Year” in 2009 as well as the “World Class Performance Award” for five years in a row starting in 2003 by U.S. Bank Corp.
“Diane’s extensive expertise as an innovative strategist and visionary provide LAMCO additional advantage when serving the REO industry,” said Brandon J. Hawkes, CEO of LAMCO. “LAMCO has had the privilege of working with her for more than 18 years, and we welcome her guidance as a LAMCO board member. We look forward to utilizing her expertise for the benefit of our current and future clients.”
